I am a professional translator, language consultant, and cultural mediator with over twenty years of experience working at the intersection of language, law, technology, and the arts. I have lived and worked abroad for more than two decades, primarily in Lithuania, where I have been based for over 20 years, while remaining professionally active across Italy, the United Kingdom, and France.

One of my core area of specialisation is legal translation, including contracts, legislation, court documents, corporate and compliance texts, and official documentation. I also have extensive experience in technical and institutional translation, particularly in the context of public administration, EU-related documentation, and international regulatory frameworks. In these fields, accuracy, terminological consistency, and reliability are essential—and non-negotiable.

Alongside legal and technical work, I have a long-standing involvement in literary and artistic translation. Over the years, I have translated and adapted novels, theatre plays, opera librettos, film scripts, subtitles, and other cultural texts. These projects require not only linguistic competence, but also creativity, sensitivity to rhythm and tone, and the ability to convey emotion and artistic intent. I am particularly experienced in transcreation and stylistically demanding texts.

Another key focus of my work is marketing, advertising, branding, and tourism-related content. I support companies, institutions, and cultural organisations in communicating effectively across languages and cultures, adapting messages rather than translating them literally. This approach is crucial for promotional materials, destination marketing, and audience-facing communication.

In parallel with my translation activity, I work as an Italian language lecturer and tutor. I have taught at Vilnius University (Faculty of Philology) and in several language schools, including the Italian Cultural Institute in Vilnius. Teaching has strengthened my linguistic awareness and my ability to explain, adapt, and refine language for different audiences.

Driven by curiosity and a strong belief in lifelong learning, I have completed two Bachelor’s degrees and two Master’s degrees, both in my home country and abroad, in addition to several professional diplomas. I see language and culture as tools for personal growth, wellbeing, and meaningful communication between people.

I am also an active tour guide and tour leader, an experience that further enriches my understanding of intercultural communication, storytelling, and audience engagement—skills that naturally feed into my translation work.
